Session 1: Today we will wrap up demonstrations for the semester. I have several concepts ready to go, but please be prepared with suggestions on topics that might be useful for the entire class.
Session 2: Please mark your calendars for Thursday, December 4, 2014. On that day our class will be held as an optional field trip to a free concert that I am giving at Metropolitan State University. The concert an interactive performance and will involve software that I developed that manipulates audiovisual content via a touchscreen interface. The concert begins promptly at 3pm and will be held in the Metro State Fine Arts Studio at 677 East Seventh Street, St. Paul, MN. The field trip is optional but highly recommended for a perspective into how interactive media is used in music, performance, and fine arts. If you cannot make the field trip an alternative assignment will be offered.
